2010 Imbil Acoustic Music Weekend

The 17th Imbil Acoustic Music Weekend, to be held over the weekend of November 5th, 6th & 7th, 2010, is promising to be a great weekend of acoustic music held at the usual venue at the Borumba Deer Park 9km outside Imbil. The music at the Imbil Music Weekend is ever evolving and is made up of many genres including bluegrass, old-time, Irish, acoustic blues, folk and gypsy jazz. It is a grass roots camping weekend for musicians and their families. The focus of the weekend is about providing a venue where like-minded musicians can spend the weekend camping and playing music. There are also some organized parts of the weekend including the Saturday night concert, Sunday concert and poet’s breakfast and workshops for various instruments.
